Sterling Enterprise is a complete computer hardware and software retailer as well as an IT and network solutions provider. We offer our services primarily within and around the Roanoke and New River Valley areas. In addition, we have extended our services to the Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. Metropolitan regions.

Sterling Enterprise was originally founded in 1983 as a company that dealt specifically in the TVRO (TeleVision Receive Only) satellite systems industry. We grew rapidly in both the consumer and commercial marketplaces because our bottom line always allowed the end consumer to do business the way they wanted. Thus, Sterling Enterprise’s motto was “Buy The Best For Less.” The services that we initially provided ranged from order-processing of TVRO satellite systems equipment to complete turn-key installations. We also provided field installations of decoder equipment to customers throughout the Roanoke area.

As the years went by, Sterling Enterprise slowly migrated to the personal computer industry. Starting in the mid-1980’s, we began purchasing, manufacturing, and installing both computer systems and networks, as well as software programming to home and business clients. Currently, we have numerous clients, both new and repeat in both the consumer and commercial markets. We also provide small and medium-sized businesses with IT and networking services as well as backup services that provide them insurance in case of loss of data.
